As a marriage celebrant I am committed to the Australian Attorney- General Department's Code of Practice for marriage celebrants, to the Monash Civil Celebrants Group Philosophy and Code of Ethics.
This means that I pursue excellence and professionalism, and I am committed to printed standards such as respect for privacy and confidentiality, complaint procedures, punctuality, cultural sensitivity, fees, and continuing professional development
With a professional background in Education and the Arts, and interests in literature, music and social justice it is my aim to make your special occasion a memorable and relaxing one for you.
I speak with dignity, warmth and clarity and will endeavour to help you and your guests enjoy a comfortable and meaningful ceremony. 
I live at Mount Martha, on the Mornington Peninsula, and can suggest many beautiful and appropriate places for a wedding ceremony if you have not yet made this decision.
Alternatively, I am also happy to travel to Melbourne or surrounding districts, if requested. [a travel charge may be incurred if the distance is over 100 km]
The momentous change over the last few months has clearly been the change to the Marriage Act allowing same sex couples to legally marry. This was not before time, in my opinion, and could have been achieved without some of the heartache that was involved, but the important thing is that iti s now law and LGBTQI couples will hopefully feel more part of the community and have freedom of choice - as do hetero couples.
So, congratulations to all couples taking on the decision to marry this year. There are many wonderful venues - parks, wineries, halls, beaches, gardens, backyards - on the Mornington Peninsula waiting to be chosen as the venue for your special day. If you are having trouble choosing I am more than happy to offer some suggestions that may assist you.
